ohGodohGodohGodohGodohGodohGodohGodohGodohGodohGod

According to the big widgetty thing on MSNBC: Live Results Available in 17 hours and 22 minutes.

I am in a panic. I think the only reason I'll be able to sleep is that I'm exhausted. I'm really worried about the outcome. I think my main prayer is that it's a fair election. I don't want there to be any question.

Spent the weekend at youth convention. There were so many really really good speakers. One in particular made me so so so sad because he talked about his younger brothers starving to death. His older brother was tired of fighting for food so one morning Thomas woke up and his older brother had left. Thomas also talked about how Catholic Relief Services "tricked" him into going to school. He had to stay a bit to get a snack. Then he had to stay a bit longer to get lunch. The whole crowd at convention gave him a standing "o" when he announced that he had just achieved a master's degree.

And then. Oh God. And then. He told us that when he's talking in schools he often gets invited to lunch. At the end of lunch, when he sees how much food is wasted he has to find a place to cry. That choked me up, made me weepy. Our kids (at school) waste so much food.
