You know, I don't mind if someone who is alive allows their image/story to be used by a political party. I feel a little gross about watching SEAL Michael Monsoor (Medal of Honor) biographical video at the RNC.
It's the same gross I feel about people hanging political signs on their kids. Unless the kid chooses to hold the sign or wear the shirt it shouldn't be done.
**Edit** Recently read that the SEALS who were attending with Monsoor (God Bless)'s sister WERE NOT supposed to be introduced by name. They've been attending things with Monsoor's sister because they were part of His unit. At the time I was thinking they looked REALLY uncomfortable with the attention--now I know why. They were in civvies because the branches don't want to appear as if they are supporting a particular candidate.
Oh for crying out loud...now the delegates are chanting U.S.A. I always feel like Republicans are trying to out patriotic democrats. Just as many liberals die for their country.
You'd think the Republicans would do better legislating for Veterans Care than they do.
I'm gonna listen to GWB's speech (who is not at his party's convention)...I don't know if I can do it.

GOD! they all say exactly the same thing about Palin...like they all got the memo this morning. I am so scared. I think Mrs. McCain just told GHWBush that President Bush is not going to be there. Weird... Okay going to watch.
